My advice on ad campaigns

Ad campaigns, whether on Meta or Google, you need to be quick on your decisions. I always try to put my ads on hours I know I will be able to track KPIs. But when it’s in another country, I rearrange my agenda to look at it. When you plan a week of ads for testing messages and designs, you need to watch them as money can go fast on test which do not work!

One of my best technique to get the best results on your ad campaign

I wanted to do Google Ads for Mayze. But, I knew I had to start elsewhere first.

So, I started by doing my keywords research on Semrush, and gathered enough to create articles and lots of content with them. For the French market, but also the US market.

Then, I test for 1 week 5 Linkedin Single Image ads, with the purpose of finding clues on my keywords research but also my messages, and designs. I sent them to my home page, with no real purpose of conversion, only the will to click on my ads or not. Of course, I only spent 60€.

I gathered all the KPIs, and then, created 5 landing pages dedicated to another batch of 5 Linkedin Single Image ads. With keywords, messages, and designs that seemed to work.

With only 30€, I gathered more insights than the previous batch.

Which prives the importance of doing 2 sets of tests.

I now have, keywords, landing pages, designs, messages which seems to work on my target, in France and in the US.

Starting my Google Ads campaigns soon, hoping they work!

Conclusion

Always look at your marketing data as golden insights. Therefore, being accompanied with a marketing analytics tool is a non-negotiable point in your marketer life. You can not spend another day trying to gather all your data, and making an Excel sheet that no one will look at. Your value is not is this task, but in your creativity and making decisions for your Marketing.
